Equality Texas produced this in support of HB 1323 from the last legislative cycle in Texas. The proposed law has been revised, updated and reintroduced as HB 224 as of November 2010. We are hopeful the law will bring positive changes for Texas' children in our public schools.

Bullicide Victims (below) was created a few years ago and remains one of the most powerful testaments out there to just how normal all these children were.  Thank you Joey Thomas for caring enough to make this when you were barely old enough to understand it, and to Eric and Chris Reading for their haunting music track.

Computer monitoring software works!  Ryan Halligan’s story changed the laws in Vermont.  Ryan committed suicide due to bullying.  His parents were able to discover some of the details leading up to this tragic event because Ryan had installed a computer monitoring software called DeadAIM on his computer. 

Ryan Halligan's dad describes the pain of losing his son with students. He shares a message of hope, so that no other family need suffer such loss.

Kristina seems like the last person that would be teased for her looks - but she was. People are motivated by jealousy all the time, and in this case I believe it exacerbated her low self esteem and resulted in her death.
